Ticket for New Moon!

I have my ticket to see New Moon on November 20th thanks to my wonderful friend, Belynda!

*Clip from Twilight Lexicon.

We are going with a group of girls from work. I cannot wait!

I plan on rereading the book soon before seeing the film.

Do you have your ticket, yet??

Trick or Treat

We had a wonderful Trick or Treat week!

We made eyeball donut holes for the kids' classes. I found the recipe here.

The kids dressed up as Harry Potter and a Fairy. They talked Daddy into dressing up while he was handing out candy. He dressed up in a Julius Caesar costume. He wasn't too happy when we got home because one of his friends took his picture and said they would be posting it on facebook!

Ian and Anna at the school party.

Ian had to dress like a book character at school. I tried to talk him into dressing like Edward Cullen, but he would not agree to it!

Anna was a Fairy. I told her that she looked so cute. She said, "Mom, I am beautiful!"

Craft Area

Here are a few pics of my craft area. It is not fancy, but it is mine. :)

A large area of wall space is dedicated to Edward. Michael wouldn't let me hang my posters in our bedroom for some reason! I love this sticker:

Awana Costumes

It was Bible Character night at Awana again. Ian decided that he wanted to be Pharaoh. Anna just said that she wanted to be a princess so she was Queen Esther.

I came up with the following costumes. I spent about $20.00 total and used materials such as a placemat and a Christmas tablecloth!

Ian's staff was a piece of wood that he found on a Boy Scout hike. Michael added the snake and spray painted it gold.

More Past Projects

Here are a few more past projects.

We went to see the Wizard of Oz this past summer. Michael thought it would be cute to dress Anna up as Dorothy. Of course, this thought came the night before the play. One quick run to Walmart and an hour later, I came up with this.

This is my first attempt at making a shirt with sleeves. I used Amy Butler material. Her stuff is my favorite.

Second attempt with sleeves. I also made the cute headband. Anna wore the headband once and now it is lost! =(

This outfit was made with Garage sale finds. The shorts and cardigan were actually junior size so I cut them down for Anna. I added a cute felt flower to the sweater.

Caramel Apples

I made 50 caramel apples last week for Ian and Anna's classes. I dipped them in fall spinkles and drizzled white chocolate on top! Yum!
